My paintings are in private collections throughout the country. I'm planning to open a studio/gallery in Lake Oswego in 2019.

I'm a Christian and a father of three. I have been an international management consultant and have worked in 30 countries and 48 states.

In addition to being an artist, I'm an actor, an author, and a runner. I'm also an avid outdoorsman. I have climbed two 20,000’ volcanoes and most of the highest mountains in North America.

Get to Know Me

I paint light and its absence. I'm an entirely self-taught contemporary American artist. I have never taken a lesson or a class, preferring instead to learn from what I see.

I recently moved to Oregon from Pennsylvania. I have been painting since the age of 10. While I have worked in watercolor, acrylic, and oils, my favorite medium is oil because of its technical complexity and the boldness of the colors. I'm fascinated by vivid colors and the interplay of light with dark upon the human face and form and upon the water.

My ideas for paintings come from both my imagination and photos. I begin each piece by creating a meticulous hand-drawing of the subject of the work.
